As I mentioned in my previous blog on small wins, I have been more focused lately on management techniques and their impact. During this quest, I have found that insight in your own personality and those around you is key to becoming a better subordinate as well as a better manager. Personality is defined as “the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character”. Your personality is also the basis of your behavior, it is the groundwork of how you work and act. If you have the insights in your personality and of those you are working with, you will know their strengths and weaknesses. Also, you will gain insight in the best way to be approached or approach others. It will help you with establishing the best work environment for you and those around you.
